Guiding Principles
At IETQAN, our technical capability is only as strong as the principles behind it.
The following values, code of conduct, and operational guidelines define the standards we hold ourselves to, not because we are required to, but because they reflect who we are.
Values
These five hold regardless of the client, the assignment, or the result.
Integrity and ethics
We report what we find. A result that is inconvenient for a client is still the result we issue.
Impartial counsel and validation
We hold no commercial stake in the outcome of any test. Threats to our independence are identified, recorded, and open to audit.
Customer focus
We work to your regulatory deadline, and we tell you up front what a submission will need rather than after the fact.
Shared knowledge and continuous learning
Standards are revised. Our team trains against the current revision, and we pass what changes back to you.
Transparency
Method, scope, and limitations are stated on every report, so anyone reviewing it can see exactly what was done.
Code of Conduct
Wekeep
the interests of our clients as our highest priority.
Weaccept
only those assignments we are qualified to perform.
Werefuse
all assignments in which we have a conflict of interest.
Weadhere
to and maintain the professional standards required.
Weact
with good faith, honesty, and fairness.
Werespect
the confidentiality of all business and personal information.
Wedeliver
professional and unbiased advice.
Weissue
reports that are accurate records of actions taken, in line with our best practices.

- Impartiality
- We proactively identify and address situations where our independence or impartiality could be compromised, and we handle them openly and transparently.

- Client confidentiality
- All client information received in the course of providing services is treated as strictly confidential and is subject only to authorised disclosure.
- Proprietary information
- IETQAN’s technical information, systems, and know-how are proprietary assets stored in designated secure areas and disposed of securely.
- Anti-bribery

Confidentiality Declaration
All personnel and associates engaged by IETQAN are required to treat as strictly confidential all documentation and information provided by IETQAN or any of its clients. Except as required by law or in demonstrating conformance with national accreditation requirements, no documentation may be copied or information disclosed to any third party without the prior written consent of the client. All proprietary rights are fully protected.
All personnel understand what constitutes a conflict of interest or inducement, and are required to report any such occurrence to IETQAN management immediately.
